LAB Active is a leading supplier of strapping tape, sporting products and apparel to sporting clubs, physiotherapists and sports enthusiasts.
Established in 2005, LAB Active was developed by the secretary of a Division 1, NSW Suburban Rugby Union Club in response to increasingly high operating costs, particularly due to the high cost of strapping tape.
Extensive research and product testing proved that it was possible to supply strapping tape at a substantially lower cost to the Club. In fact, LAB Active was able to immediately reduce the Club’s operating costs by approximately 70%. As the LAB Active brand expanded and other Premier Grade Rugby Clubs and Netball Associations began using our products, they were able to benefit from these same cost savings, reducing their operating costs by up to 50% each season. Reputable sports physiotherapists and LAB Active’s customers will attest that these cost savings have been achieved without compromising on quality. NEWSFLASH Eastwood Rugby Union Football Club 2011 Shute Shield Premiers and proud users of LAB Active strapping tape- – – I would like to say that it was LAB Active tape that held them together to not only take out the prestigious trophy, but to only lose one game all season. but I can’t. LAB Active however took the strapping tape bill for Eastwood from around $24k a season to about $12k-$14k, which allowed them to spend it on important things that lead to a premiership.
